FAA Administrator Makes Case for Broader ADS-B Implementation at ACSS Press Conference

 

Joint FAA/L-3/UPS/ACSS meeting touts benefits of SafeRoute ADS-B Solutions

ACSS President Kris Ganase hosted a press conference at the Farnborough Air Show on July 18 that featured FAA Administrator Marion Blakey. Other presenters included L-3 Interim CEO Michael Strianese and Capt. Karen Lee from UPS. Ms. Blakey spoke about the need for broader implementation ADS-B as it pertains to the Next Generation Air Traffic System (NGATS), while Karen Lee talked about how ACSS's SafeRoute will use ADS-B to increase safety and efficiency for UPS operations.
