PHOENIX, June 19, 2007 – ACSS, an L-3 Communications & Thales Company, announced today that GB Airways has selected T²CAS and the XS-950 Air Transport Data Link Transponder (ATDL) for installation on their recent order of 14 new Airbus A320 airliners. The A320s are scheduled to begin delivering later this year.

This adds to recent T²CAS orders from Skybus (65 A320s), Go Air (20 A320s) and Qatar (six A320s). This brings the total number of T²CAS customers to almost 60.

T²CAS is a unique safety avionics product that combines terrain awareness warning system (TAWS) with the industry’s leading traffic alert and collision avoidance system, the TCAS 2000.

“We’re pleased with how well the aviation community has responded to our TCAS, TAWS and transponder products as a superior solution for aircraft safety and situational awareness,” said ACSS President Kris Ganase.

T²CAS is being proposed to airlines as a supplier furnished equipment (SFE) option on all Airbus long range, single aisle and wide body aircraft. This includes A300-600, A310, A318, A319, A320, A321, A330 and A340 models. It is also available as a retrofit solution for existing Airbus aircraft (A300-600, A310, A318, A319, A320, A321, A330 and A340 models). T²CAS is a factory option at ATR for the ATR 42 and 72 aircraft, and has been selected as a retrofit product for many Boeing aircraft types and some military aircraft.

GB Airways is a British airline based at London Gatwick Airport in the United Kingdom. It operates scheduled services as a British Airways franchise to 30 destinations in Europe and North Africa from Gatwick and its hubs at Manchester Airport, and London Heathrow Airport.
